License To Carry requires class and in person venues. Blended allows taking the initial class on-line then participating in an in person event at an area agreed upon by you and a TX DPS certified LTC instructor. List are available in areas on the site. or email questions.
In Person Class is a training program designed for individuals intent on pursuing a state license to carry a concealed handgun .
The in-person class is usually conducted by certified firearms instructors who have the experience and expertise to train individuals on the proper use of firearms. The course covers topics such as firearm safety, handgun storage, shooting fundamentals, and state laws governing the use of firearms. These issues are covered in the On-Line Class before the in person event.
Participants in either the on-line blended course or the complete in-person class are required to complete a written exam before a shooting proficiency test to demonstrate their understanding of the course material. Upon successful completion of the course either course, participants are issued a certificate of completion that they can use to apply for a License To Carry permit in their state.
The License To Carry In Person Class is an excellent opportunity for individuals to learn about firearm safety and responsible gun ownership. It provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to obtain a License To Carry permit and exercise their Second Amendment rights in a safe and responsible manner.
